Have you heard about Drip Eze® and are wondering if it’s right for your garden? Given how easy it is to install and use, it’s no wonder why it’s one of our most popular products.

But what is it, why should you use it, and how can you get the most out of it? We’ve got you covered:

What is Drip Eze?

Drip Eze is deceptively clever irrigation. It might just look like a simple tube, but it offers so much when it comes to time and water savings.

The discreet 13mm tube releases a low, slow flow of water precisely and consistently to the root zone at 30cm intervals – so there’s minimal run-off and water wastage.

That makes it best suited to a wide range of landscape applications like high-density planting areas, and intricately shaped veggie and garden beds. It’s also ideal for median strips, where overspray can otherwise be an issue.

Why use drip irrigation?

If you’ve ever had to hand water your garden, you’ll know how much of a hassle it can be. Not only is it time consuming, but if you forget to water your plants or you go away, you run the risk of drying out your garden and forgoing all that hard work.

That’s where drip irrigation comes in. It promotes healthier growth with higher yields, while also saving you time and money. In fact, drip irrigation has been shown to be up to 90% efficient, compared to sprinklers (70% efficient) and surface irrigation (50% efficient). And because there’s less runoff ending up in the waterways, erosion is kept at bay too.

Pope's DIY Tips

  • For low maintenance, pair Drip Eze with a tap timer or automated solenoid system.

  • Remember, each emitter (pair of little holes in the tube) releases only 2 litres of water per hour. Make sure you run your system long enough to give the plants a good soak!
